Duncraig Manor was built for a large family with accommodation rooms for servants. It is a replica of an English Tudor style mansion which would have been built in Scotland, England, or Ireland around 1500. This architectural style resulted in smaller buildings and rooms becoming more intimate.
Duncraig is a bed and breakfast!
Duncraig’s sleeping rooms are much like what you would find in England’s old Tudor mansions – shared bathrooms. You will notice rooms A & B; which means they are suites with a shared bathroom. That gives us twelve rooms and sleeping accommodation for 24 people. When booking an event, this seems to work well for friends and family members. However, when booking for only Bed and Breakfast you book for double occupancy each room, and in the case of the adjoining suites, A & B, you may use both rooms if two friends or family members are staying; or you may book up to two more people into the extra room for $100 per person. This will give them use of the pool and all the amenities that Duncraig offers to include the gourmet breakfast, luxurious bedding, bath robes, slippers, and towels for pool use.
